About Us

This is the blog of the Invest and Invite Bible Fellowship Group at Ashland Avenue Baptist Church in Lexington, Kentucky. We are a group of married couples and young adults.

We know God because He has clearly revealed Himself through His Word. We love Him because He first loved us. We have been transformed by the power of the gospel, through the work of the Holy Spirit. We have a sure hope because Jesus Christ lived a righteous life, died a sufficient death, rose from the dead and ascended to Heaven. We seek to live according to His coming Kingdom that is already alive in our hearts.

For the glory supremacy of Christ and the joy of all peoples, we invest in the lives of others and invite them to follow Christ alongside of us.  We strive for biblical fellowship and sacrificial service for one another that is empowered by the gospel that has saved us from our sins and given us eternal life.
